The paths for the configuration files for spycer are
The file that I touched to configure spycer manually was the
Agent.conf I have put entries in there for the exclude list.
Scan\Watchfolder\ExcludeList\size=1 Scan\Watchfolder\IncludeList\size=1 Scan\Watchfolder\IncludeList\1\Dir=/media/spycer-vol0/ Scan\Watchfolder\ExcludeList\1\Dir=/media/spycer-vol0/test/
If you have to add more entries here, the
size Parameter has to be adjusted to the number of entries and you have to add more
ExcludeList\(number)\Dir -entries/. After that, restart the spyceragent. This will help in the situation that we had here where a configuration using the GUI was no longer possible because it died so quickly.
To find the logfiles for Spycer and the Webservice you will have to know, which user it is running under.
Webservice.conf will tell you that it was dvssan so the logs will reside in
/home/dvssan/.DVS while the logs for root will be in
To get an Idea where the spyceragents dies, look into the logfile and check for the last "opened" scanning of a file that did not "finish". Move that file or skip the Folder and you will have Spycer up and running again.
