Returning (RMA) defective parts to Dothill.
For DotHill 2730 models.
Dothill requires store logs to be provided when returning defective parts such as disk drives, controllers, etc...
Start the Dothill RAIDar Administrator.
Click on the left side panel: Manage > Utilities > Debug Utilities > Save logs to file.
Under the Select Log Type section, click Generate Log Information
This will take a few minutes, then...
Click on Download Selected Logs to File, and locate where the store.logs should go, then....
Tar the store.logs because it could be several megabytes:
tar cvzf customer.tgz store.logs
email / upload / ftp the customer.tgz to support agent.
