Decryption key check failed

For Fuze / Clipster Gen5 and Older

Clipster/Fuse reports Decryption key check failed after application startup.

This could also occurs when upgrading into Version 5 from lower versions.

In the Clipster program.

Down the bottom left of the screen, click on Config... > Defaults > DCI

Update the path under Self KDM Certificate, click on the ... to the right.

The Cert File is located in c:\Program Files(x86)\DVS\Clipster\Certificate Store

Click on the appropriate cert file and ok.

Close and re-launch the Clipster program.

That will clear the error. (Also, this would only affect you if you are doing encrypted DCPs.)

For Clipster Gen6

 In Gen 6 machines, the certificate is located below.

 C:\ProgramData\Rohde-Schwarz\Clipster\Certificates\ClipsterDCI_16XXXXXXX.pem

This folder is a hidden windows folder. You will need to enable "show hidden files in the folder options". 

Here is what to do : 
   In the Clipster program. Down the bottom left of the screen, click on Config... > Defaults > DCI
   Update the path under Self KDM Certificate, click on the ... to the right.
   The Cert File is located here in  :  C:\ProgramData\Rohde-Schwarz\Clipster\Certificates\
   Click on the appropriate cert file(pem) and ok.
   Close and re-launch the Clipster program.
