Gather information for system restore

This page is indented to carry useful links and tools for SAN based systems (incl. Venice!).

Please run the attached script on every RedHat based system which will create an archive inside /tmp/DATE-SystemName-.tgz and copy it to GoogleDrive/customers/CustomerName

This archive will allow us to quick restore a broken server as it contains license files, SNFS configuration, SMB/SNFS configuration, ifconfig and the Adaptec LD configuration. Alternative you can call the script dvsutil_getconfig which places files into ~root/Desktop/ServerName-#####. Unfortunately I have seen this script failing while collecting information.
