Start the GUI

Start the MegaRAID GUI from the desktop:

Login using the root credential:

 

Select the Physical tab and work down the drive list and note the counts:

 

To locate the physical drive, select the drive on the list, right click and select Start Locating Drive, a red LED will come on identifying the drive:

 

To proactively replace the drive, select Make Drive Offline, remove the drive and insert the replacement.  Rebuild should start automatically.
